April 2018The terminal development was completed with the arrival of Cape Town’s flagship seafood restaurant, Panama Jacks – the “original CapeTown Harbour best seafood restaurant since 1989”. December 2015Transnet officially handed over the operation of the terminal to the V&A Waterfront as the preferred bidder of a Terminal Operator agreement. The 20-year agreement covers both the 23,407m2 land and building area. A phased approach was adopted for the upgrade of the overall 8,292m2 building.

In general opening hours are 9 am to 5 pm, open until midday on Saturday and closed Sundays. However, in tourist areas there is a tendency of shops staying open until as late as 10pm.
